WCCA Mission and History
Since 1976, Wyoming's counties have collaborated to support one another and overcome shared challenges. While the issues have evolved, the WCCA's mission remains unchanged: to strengthen Wyoming's counties and the commissioners who serve them.

The WCCA is led by a board comprised of one commissioner from each of Wyoming's 23 counties and supported by a dedicated four-person staff. Though small, the association maintains an outsized presence through its commitment to collaboration and strong local leadership.

Congressional Senate Committee Testimony

The WCCA wanted to inform you all that the Congressional Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources requested WCCA's own Micah Christensen to testify during their upcoming Full Committee Hearing to Examine the BLM Land Use Planning Process Under FLPMA. More specifically, Micah will be discussing county involvement as cooperating agencies, designation of ACECs, and the Rock Springs (and others) RMP Revisions.

The hearing is tomorrow at 7:30 am MST if any of you are interested in watching. The hearing will be webcast live on the Committee’s website, and an archived video will be available shortly after the hearing concludes. Witness testimony will be available on the website at the start of the hearing.
