WCCA Mission and History
Since 1976, Wyoming's counties have collaborated to support one another and overcome shared challenges. While the issues have evolved, the WCCA's mission remains unchanged: to strengthen Wyoming's counties and the commissioners who serve them.

The WCCA is led by a board comprised of one commissioner from each of Wyoming's 23 counties and supported by a dedicated four-person staff. Though small, the association maintains an outsized presence through its commitment to collaboration and strong local leadership.

The WCCA Business Partner Program was created with the goal of increasing our Association’s capacity to assist County Commissioners in becoming more effective and efficient public servants. WCCA’s Business Partners provide the added resources necessary to satisfy the demands placed on Commissioners to be the effective front-line decision-makers Wyoming’s people need them to be.
