WCCA Mission and History
Since 1976, Wyoming's counties have collaborated to support one another and overcome shared challenges. While the issues have evolved, the WCCA's mission remains unchanged: to strengthen Wyoming's counties and the commissioners who serve them.

The WCCA is led by a board comprised of one commissioner from each of Wyoming's 23 counties and supported by a dedicated four-person staff. Though small, the association maintains an outsized presence through its commitment to collaboration and strong local leadership.

Hosting counties design agendas that provide federal decision-makers with direct, on-the-ground exposure to natural resource challenges and opportunities that shape Wyoming's economy, customs, and culture.
